Program Philosophy

Little world Educational society Program philosophy is Learning Through Play.
“Learning Through Play” provides various mediums that promote children’s intellectual, emotional, social, and physical development. Children are encouraged to choose their own play by having multiple choices including water and sand play, art and craft, mathematics concept, games, puzzles, carpentry/ construction play, blocks, and toys.
Each day the program will be followed by routine and learning play activities will be unstructured and child-interest-based. Group activities will be promoted during the story, physical education, meal/ snack, or socio-dramatic play times, which will promote children’s socialization skills while they play and interact with each other.

 

LWES Day Care Educational Philosophy

Our childcare environment is best described as open-ended and child-interest-based.
We attempt to facilitate activities around spontaneous ideas, thoughts, and play interests of the children involved in our program. The Early Childcare Educator is responsible for structuring the environment to be full of appropriate choices, materials, and opportunities for play. Thus, in turn, helps the children experiment with materials through trial and error. The Early Childcare Educator then expands and elaborates on the child/children’s interests.

 

Hours & Holidays

We are open from 7:00 am to 6 pm Monday to Friday. We are closed on a statutory holiday.

At LWES we follow Canadian Food Guide for healthy & fir children.
